Satya is an old friend of mine. There was a time I had to wait to find out she was okay. This comes from worrying she was not safe, and celebrating that she is.
About the frames: my frames are mostly second-hand, rescued from charity shops and sometimes the rubbish pile. Small scratches, scuffs, fading and light damage are intentional: a nod to the past, and to the millions of images people have chosen to display in their homes to communicate who they are. The recycling may show. That's part of what makes each piece an original, and part of the story. Small print
