I was experimenting with trying to capture the beauty and elegance of the female form using as few colours and as few curves as possible. I believe there is beauty in geometry, and there is beauty in people. There is beauty in straight lines and there's beauty in curves. And finding somewhere in between the straight lines and the curves is where the magic lies.

About the frames: my frames are mostly second-hand, rescued from charity shops and sometimes the rubbish pile. Small scratches, scuffs, fading and light damage are intentional: a nod to the past, and to the millions of images people have chosen to display in their homes to communicate who they are. The recycling may show. That's part of what makes each piece an original, and part of the story. Small print
