Seeing beauty in the normality of everyday events.
I saw this cigarette and pan waller at the bus stop in Akola India and had to have a picture of him. I spoke to him and moved till the light fell directly down half his face and took the picture. I want to do more of this, beauty is much deeper than skin.
This is a picture of an Indian Gypsy he waits in the streets of Mahabaleshwar to sell rides on his horse to an increasingly rich Indian population who are now disconnected from the countryside they called home only a few years ago.
On the way to Lonar we stopped outside a boys school and they were very interested.
This picture is taken at night in Ellora in India, during the day this area is busy with tourists who come to visit the caves at night it turns into a ghost town with only the waiters and cooks from the cafes and restaurants left behind.
In the backstreet’s of Akola there is a barber shop quarter.
