Below I have some of my landscape photography and in some cases the same picture with further edits to explore how further emotion can be expressed in a picture and how editing affects the way we interpret an image.
The picture above is taken in Jersey and has had minor adjustments it was taken with a circular polarising filter.
The same view but a different shot this time with a washed out retro look made by adjusting the colour balance and levels to create a washed out analogue look.

Moscow in February this picture has been given a sepia retro look to emphasise how little this view has changed and how the Stalinist monuments in the background still dominate the Moscow skyline.
Spring in Moscow and here again I have featured a Stalinist Monument and put a retro look on it to emphasise the timelessness of this view this time using a bright clean black and white to emphasis spring.
Looking out of my guest house window in Mahableshwar a very small aperture is used here to preserve the detail in both the tree and the background.
I took this picture in India and partly because of the timeless nature of this photograph I selected it to have further edits.
Here the same photograph in black and white with a colour filters used to darken the leaves and bring out definition between the sky and the land.
Here I have added a thick black border to the top and bottom to further enhance the impression of contrast in the image.
